Nowadays more and more people keep new skills to adapt to a fast-changing world, and it
becomes common sense that lifelong learning is of tremendous benefit to our life. My
perspectives are as follows.
First and foremost, new skills are greatly crucial for students to gain an excellent
academic performance on campus in the contemporary university. Take one of my real
experiences as an example. I hadn't made presentations before I went to college, but I
found that presentations were required in almost all courses. As I culticated speech
skills and learned how to design slides, I performed better in front of the class and
attained higher grades. What's more, even after graduation, the various and changing
social situations drive everyone to develop new abilities, or there will be risks of being
left behind. My father used to tell me that in his lifelong occupational experience, he
was always on the way of learning new-rising tools, following the development of
the technology, which contributed to his career success.
In conclusion, there is no doubt that we ought to keep learning in this rapidly
changing society. Only if we emphasize the importance of lifelong learning can we
embrace a better future.
