delegation to Alaska for talks with the United States.
During the talks, the United States still treated us with an arrogant and
domineering attitude, which approach aroused strong dissatisfaction
with our delegation. The Chinese side stated that the United States
has neither the qualifications nor the strength to come to bargain with China,
and we, now, do not need to consider the views of the
United States as our own national interests.
Obviously, the most fundamental purpose of the United States in inviting our
high-level delegation to Alaska for negotiations is to hope that our country
partly makes compromises and concessions to the United States from the
perspective of politics and international interests. Nevertheless, such an attempt is
unlikely to succeed. Although the current international environment is mainly
based on the game of big powers, facts have proved that China will not lose to the
United States in confrontation, and it is absolutely impossible for China to make a
difference in its own national interests. Similarly, the United States hopes to
negotiate with China also means that the United States has lost its military
suppression of China, and it is impossible for the United States
to use military power to make China bow.
In the South China Sea twenty years ago, Wang Wei’s affair on
No. 81192: "I have received it, but I can no longer return."
As is universally acknowledged, it is a military conflict that
took place in China, but our country can only endure it instead of fight
against it. Evidently, although China was developing rapidly in 2001, it was
still underdeveloped after all. Therefore, whether it is economic or military, it is
difficult to compete with the United States. Although China is occupied, if it chooses
to fire only for the sake of a short period of time, the economic environment in
China will be greatly affected, the society will be completely turbulent, and the people
will be displaced. Even, the ancestors struggling for decades will also be in vain.
I remember when I asked my parents about this when I was a child, I was
extremely confused and indignant. However, a burst of enthusiasm came
directly from the bottom of my heart, because I just watched the high-level
negotiations between China and the United States in Alaska on TV. Committee
member Yang Jiechi said: "The United States is not qualified to talk condescendingly
with China, and the Chinese do not exercise forbearance of that."
In recent years, the Chinese Navy and even the entire Chinese military have
increased significantly. At present, our country already has two aircraft carrier battle
groups with basic combat capabilities. Meanwhile, our country has made considerable
progress in other areas of military technology. We now have a fifth-generation
fighter jet, and a new generation of stealth strategic bombers are likely to be in
service at any time. Moreover, our country is constantly expanding our naval power
at the level of the gross tonnage of one French fleet per year. Therefore, the
United States must consider whether to engage with China,
which can form a long-term advantage over China in conflict.
