相传战国时期,楚王率众征伐,途径汉中,人困马乏。路经一野湖,见群鸭云集飞渡,景象壮
观。楚王大喜,令军士捕而食之。不日,余鸭无数,恰军中一人,擅于膳食。教众人用秘方酿
制,遂成鸭脖美味,楚王尝之,赞不绝口。而军中士卒尤为喜爱。得此美食后,楚军越显神勇
,攻城略地成七雄伟业。而偶有伤寒不适,食之亦无一不好,众人皆称绝。精武鸭脖之名由此
而得。数千余年,此秘方不得而传。恰有汉口人氏汤腊9,颇好饮食,并为调配佳肴费尽心机。
1日偶遇川中好友,言谈中说及战国精武鸭脖美味,叹息不已。汤氏突发奇想,通阅古籍,寻觅
良方,并结合川鄂两系之长,穷数年之功,渐成特有风格。其所酿造鸭脖,亦成一绝。众人食
之,无一者不叹为佳肴。
